This is all you get!

Here are the two pictures I allowed my mother to take to document the past 9 mos. the first picture I am just about 5 mos. along and the other is me at 39 1/2 weeks. The little pink and green outfits were outfits that my mother saved from when I was a baby. I'm excited to pass them on to my daughter. Enjoy, because this is all you're getting, as I absolutely HATED taking "fat" pictures as I called it! Ha! :-)

Hunt Garden 2010

Alright, everyone! Here it is! The Hunt Family Garden of 2010! We took Memorial Day weekend to build the fence, lay the mulch and plant all the goodies! We've now got strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, tomatoes (2 kinds), onions, butternut and sweetmeat squash, watermelon, bell peppers, jalapenos, and even a few herbs growing! I hope everything makes it! Drew built the strawberry box and did most of the fence/mulch work. I loved getting dirty planting all the seeds/plants. The plaque was a gift from my in-laws. We are very excited about our more established garden area and now there's no way the dogs can trample over anything growing! Hooray!

Long over-due

Ok, everyone. FINALLY here are the pictures of the nursery. Sorry they seem a bit dark, it was a snowy gray day when we took the pictures. Thanks to my mom being here over Spring break (back in March) we have several homemade burp cloths, cribsheets, receiving blankets, curtains, wall-hanging, and much MUCH more! We are down to the last 2 months of waiting and I've only got 10 more days of teaching left until summer is officially started! How exciting! We are looking forward to welcoming our new bundle of joy with more and more excitement each day!

A couple of notes about a few things in the nursery...most of the little porcelin dolls on the white shelves (put up later, on the wall behind the rocker, by Drew after many a choice word and grunts of frustration) were given to me, each year on my birthday, by my late grandmother. I couldn't help but be thrilled that I get to pass these on to my little girl, as her great-grandmother will not be able to continue the tradition. Also, Drew carried on one of the Hunt family traditions and she even has her very first piggy bank (and yes, it is PINK!) with her first bit of savings already in place.

Happy 2010!!

Happy New Year to you all out there! 2010 has brought four more days of Christmas break due to below zero temperatures and 6 more inches of snow. So it's back to teaching NEXT Monday instead of this past Tuesday for Kellie! Woohoo! Drew has been a bit jealous, as he doesn't get snow days and has had to work while Kellie gets to snuggle back down and sleep in.
Also, if for some reason you have been out of the loop, the Christmas season brought a very exciting piece of news for our little family...we are pregnant! Kellie is due July 31st and the baby seems to be just peachy at this point in time. Baby Hunt has also already earned it's first nickname; Peanut. We'll be sure and keep you posted on the fun and exciting developments throughout the upcoming months!
Here are some pictures of the first snow (Christmas Eve), the lights Drew put up outside, and our first family Christmas tree!
